BIOGRAPHY

Farah Hamida is an electrical engineer and researcher at the German Jordanian University, with a strong focus on renewable energy systems and green hydrogen technologies. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental and Renewable Energy Engineering from the German Jordanian University with a GPA of 91 (Excellent), and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Al-Balqa’a Applied University. Currently serving as a Research Assistant, Farah actively contributes to national research projects focusing on hydrogen integration, energy systems modeling, and techno-economic analysis. She has hands-on experience with simulation software such as HOMER and MATLAB, and is deeply involved in proposal writing, project coordination, and student mentoring. Her professional interests include PV systems, energy accounting, CHP integration, and machine learning applications in energy.

Farah’s work emphasizes practical solutions that support Jordan’s transition to sustainable energy. Her first academic publication, "The Potential of Green Hydrogen and Power-to-X to Decarbonize the Fertilizer Industry in Jordan," was published in the journal Agriculture in March 2025.
