A Scientific and Technical Day at the German Jordanian University

The College of Applied Technical Sciences at the German Jordanian University organized a scientific and technical day titled "Microscopic/Nanoscopic Systems for Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Applications" as part of a research project supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

The project director, Dr. Alaaeddin Al-Halhuli, welcomed the attendees, including students, researchers, and speakers. He also expressed his gratitude for the continuous support provided by the DAAD to the university, emphasizing the importance of the programs and scholarships offered by the organization and their effective role in exchanging knowledge and skills, and contributing to society.

The DAAD Director in Jordan, Gabriele von Fircks, gave an overview of the organization's key programs and encouraged students and university professors to participate.

During a tour of the Nano-Research Laboratory and Smart Grid Laboratory, the university president, Professor Manar Fayyad, accompanied by the Vice President, Dr. Dorit Schumann, emphasized the importance of applied scientific research, especially as it positively impacts the industrial sector through partnerships with this important sector.

At the end of the day, the participants presented their research projects and discussed future cooperation with partners.
